Tuesday morning was a perfect for some porpoise watching at Strumble. Cristina's video shows some fantastic behaviour and some really interesting interaction. Its the kind of stuff you can only get from the shore with the porpoises acting completely naturally. I cannot imagine why Strumble Head and its associated tidal systems have not been designated as a SAC we have been banging on about this for years. Nobody seems to want to listen, even though the UK government is being threatened with heavy fines for not creating SAC's for Harbour Porpoises.
Obviously someone somewhere is intent on putting a block on this
